By installing or using the Sparkly Chrome extension ("the extension", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the extension and discontinue use.
Sparkly is a free Chrome extension that replaces your browser's new tab page with a productivity dashboard. Features include tab management, news feeds, wallpapers, quick shortcuts, a global search bar, and an optional Google Workspace widget for Calendar, Drive, and Gmail integration.
You agree to use Sparkly only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The Google Workspace widget is optional and requires you to authenticate with a Google account. By connecting your Google account you authorize Sparkly to access your Calendar, Drive, and Gmail data in read-only mode, solely for display purposes within your local new tab page.
You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within the extension settings. Sparkly's use of Google API data is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Sparkly and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Sparkly name, logo, and branding may not be used without prior written permission.
Sparkly may display content from third-party sources including news feeds, wallpaper images, and Google services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
Sparkly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any content displayed by the extension.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparkly and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the extension, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Your use of Sparkly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the extension at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
You may stop using Sparkly at any time by uninstalling the extension from your browser. We reserve the right to discontinue the extension or block access at our discretion.
